The RAF originally ordered nine Poseidon MRA1 aircraft, with the first arriving in the UK in February 2020 and the ninth (ZP809) arriving at RAF Lossiemouth in January 2022. RAF Lossiemouth is home to the RAF's entire fleet of nine Boeing Poseidon MRA1 (P-8A Poseidon) maritime patrol aircraft. The aircraft carry the serials:
